The officer was there to serve that quarantine order on duncans family, a family now suddenly prepare today say their final goodbyes to their lost loved one. We should not call the negotiations, right . It depends on what they are negotiating about. , manyesident made clear times, that he would not negotiate over some kind of ransom but he has been open to talking about setting up a budget process, some kind of framework for getting a bigger budget deal done. That seems to be where they are going. That is the opening he provided a few days ago in his press conference and is one that they have continued to subtly put out there as a way to give republican some assurance that those negotiations would be real and substantive and cover some of the issues they want to cover , and yet, reopen the government. Today, some critics say times have changed. I commend the work of the Police Department here at the los angeles airport. They did a fantastic job yes, they did. Very, very brave officers that ran right into the situation. But at the same token, tsa, they need a Law Enforcement there. My good friend and colleague sitting beside of me would not be looking to the phoenix Police Department to provide the security for his officers. He wants to do that. There needs to be some type of Law Enforcement inside of tsa to provide security at that checkpoint. There are still a very large airport, parking lots, all of those type things that have to be managed in an Airport Operation in which we need the local Law Enforcement and the airport Law Enforcement to handle. Two firefighters were injured in this mornings fire. This is the fifth deadly fire in Montgomery County this year. Smoke poured out of the windows and roof of this home early this morning after a fire level,through the split ultimately claiming the life of an 81yearold woman. This is very sad. Very sad. Montgomery county fire officials tell us the fire started in the basement of the house around 4 30. The man who lived in the basement was able to get out on his own and told firefighters his mother was still inside on the second floor. An old lady. She seemed very nice. Firefighters went in through an upstairs window. Abc 7 cameras were there as the injured woman was pulled from the home. The woman was taken to the hospital where she later died. Two of the firefighters involved in that initial rescue were taken to the hospital as well. Minor injuries and things of that nature. A gas lineters say to the house complicated matters, making it more difficult at times for firefighters to put
