Federal investigators confirm a possible link between the ambushstyle killing of a sheriffs deputy and the killing of a federal officer in oakland. Good evening, and thank you for joining us. Investigators say Steven Carrillo ambushed and kill the deputy yesterday in ben lomond and wounded another deputy and a chp officer. Deputies first responded to the scene after getting a call about a suspicious white van. The caller reported seeing guns and bombmaking materials inside the van. Investigators are also looking for a white van connected to the shooting death of federal Security Officer Pat Underwood in oakland. Sergeant Damon Gutzwiller died in yesterdays shooting.
