Investigators say Steven Carrillo ambushed and kill the deputy yesterday in ben lomond and wounded another deputy and a chp officer. Deputies first responded to the scene after getting a call about a suspicious white van. The caller reported seeing guns and bombmaking materials inside the van. Investigators are also looking for a white van connected to the shooting death of federal Security Officer Pat Underwood in oakland. Sergeant Damon Gutzwiller died in yesterdays shooting.
