advantage in speaker mccarthy being able to pass a bill out of the house of representatives. most people didn t think he could do it. he did. i was outplaying to these negotiations. got support for house republicans. kevin mccarthy cannot appear to give up to much to fast. neither can the democrats. the basis of both parties are watching. public spam could help. mccarthy must show he s fighting for the house bill even if it cannot pass the senate. jason? john, thank you. cheat sheet joe struck again as a photographer captured biden holding another note card with talking points in japan. including a reminder of the top 2 think the host. the embarrassment didn t end there for joe who often times looked confused and lost. despite appearing to be fully focused on the difficult task of walking, he wants against doubled and nearly fell down a set of stairs.
andy mccarthy for rolling with this. we have this copy that is was made available to fox news by a member of congress and sent to fox digital. we are getting a look inside it. let s go to david spunt who is standing by. hi, david. from the justice department, we know attorney general merrick garland received this report from special counsel, john durham last friday. garland read it with his team. we re told by the senior doj official. he didn t take anything out or didn t add anything to this 306 pages. directly transmitted it to capitol hill and now we know the report is public. it s important that we go back to the years when this happened. 2016, 2017. a very volatile time in this country no doubt. so when we hear about the fbi, we re hearing about under the leadership of then fbi director james comey. the fbi out with a new
failure by james comey, the director of the fbi. martha: thanks, brett. brett tolman weighing in as we dig through john durham s report that cost millions. we bring in karl rove, a fox news contributor. karl, your reaction to what you learned so far on this? pretty explosive. just a quick read of some of it. the fbi and the justice department failed to uphold strict fidelity to law. this appears to be a comment on getting a fisa warrant on a member of the trump circle of friends and supporters without upholding the law. they went in to lead provided or funded by trump s political opponents, directly or indirectly funded. we re talking about the steele dossier. critical of them not checking on that. did not adequately examine or question the material that they
head while he was president all of this time. where does he go to get that time back or that opportunity back that he might have had? he doesn t get it back. you know, martha, it s a timely point because the thing that is going on right now in front of our eyes is we have this scandal involving president biden s family, cashing in on his political influence. its absolutely obvious that the biden justice department cannot investigate the biden administration. it has a profound conflict of interest. the fact is that if you have a special counsel, special counsels are like the death nail of administrations. that s the reason why they appoint one. president trump is probably exhibit one of that. that basically sat on him and the country for the first two years of his administration. made it very difficult to govern. martha: now he s running again. we ll see where it goes. andy, thank you so much.
whining, complaining, all this will stale maga stuff that has no meaning and starts launching into class warfare about tax cuts which by the way the trump tax cuts were enormously successful for middle income people. listen, this debt ceiling stuff is going to be a front-page story. we re running short of revenues. the day is coming when the treasury department cannot stop borrowing anymore. so joe biden has gone now, what did you say 76 days. sean: 76 days he will not talk to republicans. he will not talk. i mean they should have a cup of coffee, a diet coke, go to a drive-in movie. do something for christ s sakes. he won t do it. so it s utterly irresponsible for him. and i just want to say, mccarthy s speech hang on one second. mccarthy s peach, right, puts caps on spending which is so
