Staycations are going to be the first choice for many families this summer, with summer holidays abroad still being complicated by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and travel restrictions.
APEX is designed to simplify how Dell’s customers and partners access the company’s products, including storage, servers, networking and PCs via an as-a-service purchasing model.
They pointed to three key trends driving its partner base: partners taking more of an ecosystem approach; the introduction of as-a-service; and more specialisation by industry. We see three big trends reshaping the partner landscape, driven by customer demand, said Rola Dagher, global channel chief. First, we are seeing partners take an ecosystem approach to how they serve customers. The lines between partner types are blurring and they are recognising the tremendous value they can deliver together. Customers are engaging with more than one partner because they re focusing on an outcome, an experience - better, faster and at a lower cost.

Although Dell Technologies World Digital Experience 2021 marks the company’s second year in a row that Dell’s flagship conference is virtual, it doesn’t mean big news won’t be unveiled during the two-day online event.
Thousands of customers, channel partners and industry leaders will be in attendance virtually to hear from the likes of Dell Technologies CEO Michael Dell and Vice Chairman Jeff Clarke to Bill Nye the Science Guy and film director star Robert Rodriguez.

Perrys Motor Sales has opened a new Mazda UK Studio in Dover, claiming to offer the Japanese brand’s premium car dealership experience from “a more intimate and convenient setting”.
The new facility, on the White Cliffs Business Park, Whitfield, Dover, is the second Mazda Studio to open in the UK, following the AM100 car retail group’s opening of another similar facility in Colne, Lancashire.
Laura Brailey, head of retail operations at Mazda UK, said: “I’m delighted we are able to launch our second Mazda Studio.
“A Mazda Studio is a potential future retail format we are piloting in order to provide a more convenient solution for our existing and future customers, which is already proving successful with our first-ever Colne Studio launched in Lancashire.
