Longtime downtown Redding business Boardmart to close later this spring
Boardmart, one of downtown Redding’s oldest retail stores, is closing later this spring after more than 25 years in business.
Owners Denise Craig and Kelli Ercolano said they have talked about retiring for a couple of years and decided now is the time. They bought the store from the original owner in 2000.
“We have had the store for 21 years and we just felt like even before COVID happened that we were going to retire this year, so we did,” Craig said Wednesday.
The store on Market Street is currently hosting a retirement sale.
