Laid the Foundation Black women laid the foundation for the work we will emphasize. Black female physicians in philadelphia in a postworld war ii context. We will lay some of the groundwork first giving you greater context in the ways in which black women in the 19th century had a significant contribution to the development of you lived in medicine.
