CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas â Due to a severe drop in temperatures forecasted this weekend through Tuesday, February 16, the Cityâs Parks & Recreation Department announces the following closures and changes to programs:
Al Kruse Tennis Center
Change in Hours due to weather - Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 11 am - 5 pm
H-E-B Tennis Center
Normal Business Hours Monday 9 am â 9:30 pm; Tuesday 9 am â 9:30 pm
Change in Hours due to weather Monday 9 am - 5 pm; Tuesday 9 am â 5 pm
Golf Courses â Municipal Golf Centers (Oso Beach and Lozano) â Pro Shops Open 7 am to 2 pm Friday, and possibly through Tuesday. The recreation division of the Town of Fountain Hills Community Services Department has for almost a year now been working through the COVID-19 pandemic to maintain activities and education programs geared toward serving the residents of the community.
âThe Community Services department had to cancel many events in 2020 due to the pandemic, such as Irish Fountain Fest, Music Fest, Back to School Bash, Fourth at the Fountain, Elfieâs Playground Palooza and Eggstravaganza,â said Recreation Manager Linda Ayres. âChallenges like these drive the staff to innovate and find new ways to engage the community in a safe manner.
