Severe winter weather forces city facility and operational closures MGN and last updated 2021-02-15 21:41:27-05 CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — City officials stated due to a second night of forecasted icy road conditions, road and bridge closures and severe cold and inclement weather, the City of Corpus Christi will remain closed along with most City offices. Those offices include City Hall, Development Services, Public Libraries, and Senior Centers on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021. First responders and Animal Care Services will continue providing services. There are other offices and programs which also have been impacted including: Municipal Court: Closed. All in person and virtual hearings scheduled for Tuesday, February 16 are cancelled.

Updated: 10:08 PM CST February 14, 2021 CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas Due to icy road conditions, road and bridge closures and severe cold and inclement weather that is expected through Monday, the City of Corpus Christi will close most City offices including City Hall, Development Services, Public Libraries, and Senior Centers on Monday, February 15. Here’s a list of the changes brought by the winter weather:  First responders and Animal Care Services will continue providing services. Municipal Court: Closed. All in person and virtual hearings scheduled for Monday, February 15 are cancelled. Corpus Christi International Airport: The airport terminal will remain open through the duration of the weather event to provide customer service to tenants and travelers who may need assistance. Parks and Recreation department announces inclement weather closures MGN and last updated 2021-02-11 20:13:31-05 CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Due to a severe drop in temperatures forecasted this weekend through Tuesday, February 16, the City’s Parks & Recreation Department announces the following closures and changes to programs: Al Kruse Tennis Center Change in Hours due to weather - Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 11 am - 5 pm H-E-B Tennis Center Normal Business Hours Monday 9 am – 9:30 pm; Tuesday 9 am – 9:30 pm Change in Hours due to weather Monday 9 am - 5 pm; Tuesday 9 am – 5 pm Golf Courses – Municipal Golf Centers (Oso Beach and Lozano) – Pro Shops Open 7 am to 2 pm Friday, and possibly through Tuesday.
