Religious places in Delhi open, devotees to adhere to THESE COVID-19 guidelines - The Delhi Disaster Management Authority order has permitted the entry of devotees to religious places but prohibits large gatherings inside.
DMRC services were fully suspended since May 10 in view of the Covid-induced lockdown in Delhi. It was first imposed on April 19 and successively extended by the city government.
On April 20, Delhi registered the biggest spike of new 28,395 coronavirus cases since the pandemic began last year. On April 26, the city registered the highest ever positivity rate of 36.24 per cent.
