Forest guards will also be provided motorbikes for quick action in case of emergencies including anti-encroachment drives. For over two years, the forest and wildlife department have been carrying out encroachment removal drive in Delhi s southern ridge. The anti-encroachment drive is being carried out in areas that come under the ridge area covering 6,200 hectares, according to a report in Times of India.
