Taking forward the spirit encapsulated in the Delhi Declaration, the NSAs reportedly discussed the situation in Afghanistan and the region. They highlighted the need to find constructive ways to ensure peace and stability in Afghanistan and combat risks from terrorism emanating from the region.
External affairs ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said India will continue to send humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people and that it is committed to sending more medical supplies and wheat to that country.
The Delhi Regional Security Dialogue on Afghanistan is organised at a time the ISIS-K is fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan to gain control of territory and spread its influence.
