Amid rising concerns over the Omicron variant of coronavirus, the US reported its first case on Wednesday. The Centre's new screening rules for international travellers coming to India, too, kicked off on the same day. As per the guidelines, all international travellers arriving in India will be required to fill in a self-declaration form and share a copy of their negative RT-PCR test reports with the airlines before boarding the aircraft.
