Environment Minister Gopal Rai chaired a review meeting at the Delhi Secretariat on Wednesday on the rising pollution level and implementation of Graded Response Action Plan-II.
Over the past 4-5 days, the city’s AQI has remained around 350 and it is likely to deteriorate further and reach severe category. Meteorologists blame drop in temperature and calm winds for the poor air quality and these conditions are expected to persist for the next few days.
