Delhi Ev Policy 2.0: The Delhi Electric Vehicles Policy-2020 expired on August 8 this year and the government had said that the subsidy being given under it would continue till a new policy gets notified.
Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot has stated that the upcoming Electric Vehicles Policy 2.0 will aim to incentivize the retrofitting of vehicles due to its high cost. The existing policy will be extended for six months or until the new one is finalized. Gahlot mentioned that the government is considering the concept of retrofitting, where people can convert their internal combustion engines to electric ones.
