Arvind Kejriwal case: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has petitioned the Supreme Court for a seven-day extension on his interim bail in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case.
The Delhi High Court on Tuesday dismissed the bail petitions moved by Manish Sisodia, Aam Aadmi Party leader and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister in liquor policy cases, saying the prosecution has made out a "prima facie case" of money laundering against the former Deputy CM.
The SC has held that if the ED has not arrested the accused while conducting the investigation, they cannot seek his custody once the court takes cognisance of the matter and he appears before it.

The Supreme Court also told theĀ Enforcement Directorate that it would hear arguments for interim bail as Kejriwal is "the sitting Chief Minister of Delhi and needs to campaign for the Lok Sabha elections".
