AAP has accused the BJP of trying to force the nominated members, appointed by the L-G, to vote in the MCD House, and that it is trying to increase the number of its votes through "wrong means".
At least 51 per cent of the 250 newly elected councillors in the MCD have declared educational qualifications between Class 5 and Class 12 pass while 66 per cent are in the 41-70 age group, according to a Association for Democratic Reforms report.
More than 57,000 votes were polled in the None of the Above (NOTA) category in the high-stakes municipal polls in Delhi, according to data shared by the State Election Commission on Wednesday.
