This is not the first time that Delhiās budget presentation has been delayed. Last year, a day before it was to be presented, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal alleged that the MHA had not cleared the budget.
According to NCRB, “The highest number of fatal road accidents were reported in Delhi city (1,412 deaths) followed by Bengaluru (772 deaths), accounting for 8.8 percent and 4.8 percent of total deaths due to road accidents in 53 mega cities respectively during 2022.”
Officials said the CM stated that the government will not compromise on the care and betterment of children, and those who show negligence will not be forgiven.
