DELAWARE COUNTY, PA Delaware County officials last week announced the reformation of the county s Heroin Task Force to be a more inclusive substance abuse group.
District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer and Sandra Garrison, the Director of the County s Department of Human Services, announced last week said the county s Heroin Task Force has been reshaped to be the Delaware County Substance Abuse & Recovery Task Force.
In making their announcement, Stollsteimer and Garrison noted that while the Heroin Task Force had played a vitally important role in the early years of the opioid epidemic, much had been learned about the issue of substance abuse and recovery since 2012.
