After a year off during the pandemic, the Delaware River Sojourn is back this August, offering a week of guided paddling along the river.
Participants can take part in all activities from Aug. 6 to 13, or sign up for one day or part of the trip.
Before the trip starts, the Delaware River Sojourn and the National Park Service Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River will hold a river cleanup from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6, on a two-mile section of the East Branch Delaware River near Hancock, New York. Canoes and equipment will be provided.

D&R Greenway is offering a series of virtual presentations with discussion – free of charge – about Delaware River natural, historic, and cultural places that can be discovered locally. Lucky participants who attend all four sessions in the series will be rewarded with a guest certificate for a kayak experience in D&R Greenway s new fleet of boats kept at Bordentown Beach.
