Gov. John Carney, the Delaware Division of Public Health (DPH) and the Delaware Emergency Management Agency (DEMA) have announced the list of community testing sites throughout Delaware this week. Testing locations include pop-up and Curative trailer sites, as well as community sites hosted by New Castle County and Henrietta Johnson Medical Center.
âThe most important thing we can do to protect ourselves and our loved ones is to get vaccinated,â said Carney. âCOVID-19 is still circulating in our communities, but we have the tools to prevent severe illness and hospitalization. Ask your friends and family if theyâve been vaccinated. Talk to your doctor, or look for vaccination clinics in your area.â

âWe are vaccinating thousands of Delawareans every day, but we need to continue to stay vigilant to prevent the spread of COVID-19,â said Carney. âFollow the public health precautions. Get tested, wear a mask, wash your hands and practice social distancing. I encourage all Delawareans to get the shot.â

âWe were proud to put the âVax Machineâ out on the road this week to reach communities across the state. And we are working hard to distribute the vaccine in a way thatâs fast and fair.â said Carney. âIn the meantime, we need to keep following the basic health precautions. Get tested, wear a mask, wash your hands and practice social distancing, even if you have been vaccinated.â
