Police tell us to the tune of at least 100,000. They are looking to see if these robberies are connected. Here is what happened earlier today. Just after 9 00 this morning. Police tell us the two men walked into this coin shop here just off of main street. They said they wanted to buy some coins. Maybe sell some jewelry. Things escalated from there. During the transaction, apparently, one of the suspects pulled out a taser and tased one of the employees. A second employee came over to assist. He was tased as well. During the incident, both employees were ziptied. F reporter now, one employee was rushed to the hospital. No word on how he is doing. Weather appears to be the new norm. Events like superstorm saturday which came to my shores and our shears in the mid atlantic a year or so ago, recent wildfires in ore parts of the country other parts of the country, dangerous tornadoes, historic droughts. They may well be just the tip of the iceberg of whats to come. And even today the east coast is preparing for yet another snowstorm while the west coast is experiencing a historic drought.
