hurricane by the time it gets to puerto rico. right now those hurricane watches are up for the u.s. virgin islands and st. martin and some of the same areas in here that were hit with irma are likely going to get hit again. the storm is only going to strengthen as it hits warmer water. over the next couple of days by the time we get to wednesday, a category three storm in puerto rico, which will be very bad news. it looks like puerto rico could take more of a direct hit from this storm than it did from irma. also monitoring jose in the atlantic, still a 90-mile-per-hour storm, expected to remain a hurricane through about tuesday and perhaps brush the east coast. with that we have tropical storm watches also newly issued from delaware back into up rockaways of new york and coastal connecticut and up into plymo h plymouth, massachusetts. tropical storm conditions are expected and it looks like the rain is on the increase in terms of models. looking at perhaps a half foot
