19:12 | Lima, Apr. 26. Peru s Defense Minister Nuria Esparch brought 9,360 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to the region of Cajamarca in order to continue the immunization process in people over the age of 80.
The batch of Pfizer vaccines was delivered to the Regional Health Directorate, in the presence of Governor Mesias Guevara, for their storage, conservation, and subsequent administration in the districts of Cajamarca and Baños del Inca.
Afterwards, the minister together with Deputy Minister for Defense Policies Manuel Mesones and the regional governor visited the Divino Maestro School, where she supervised the vaccination of the elderly. Those who are vaccinated will be protected. It does not mean that one cannot be infected. People have to continue looking after themselves; getting vaccinated does not mean you will not get sick, it means you will get sick less severely, she said.

As it turns out, the Atlantic Ocean has never been a one-way only journey. Plenty of people have been moving both west and east across its waters, including quite a few Native Americans who undertook wide-ranging voyages.
