Reports said the hospital had hidden deaths between April 25 and May 12 (Representational image) DEHRADUN: A day after reports that the Covid care centre run at the Doodadhari Burfani Hospital in Haridwar had hidden the deaths of 65 patients between April 25 and May 12, kin narrated horrifying stories about what they went through. Brijesh Kumar, whose wife lost her life at the centre on May 3, told TOI on Sunday that he was shocked when he saw her body lying on the floor of the hospital where he had admitted her barely 24 hours ago. “She was not given even a single medicine. Her file that we got from the hospital was blank with no treatment details. When I fought with the hospital staff to know about her condition and subsequently barged into the Covid ward when I did not get a response, I found her body on the floor,” Kumar said, sobbing.
