nbc s brian mooar reports from belfont, pennsylvania. reporter: though it once seemed unlikely, a judge seated a 12th member of the jury that will decide the child sex abuse case against former penn state defensive coach jerry sandusky. the judge is clearly moving the case along quickly. the jury selection process, he didn t waste any time in phase two. reporter: juror 12 was seated before lunch, a day and a half after jury selection started. that silenced those who believed it was impossible to find a jury in a small community with such close ties to penn state and its legendary football team. well, the judge says these ties are to be expected. some of the connections were a little too close. 15 people knew a member of the a person named on the prosecution witness list. 20 people knew someone on the defense witness list which was much longer. reporter: one juror is a current student. another a season ticket holder
