The Kwarezmian Empire
The Kwarezmian are defined by sturdy spearmen to provide the anvil for their strong cavalry and to give time for their skilled archers to reap a deadly toll. The vast majority of their roster is available from the campaign start, which is a blessing when you are dealing with the Mongols on your doorstep.
