Estonia's defense spending plan for the years 2023-2026 is now worth just over €3.8 billion, and will include the procurement of artillery and mid-range air defense systems, sufficient to cover the entire territory.
The Estonian government on Thursday approved the draft protocols for Finland and Sweden's accession to NATO and authorized Estonia's Permanent Representative to NATO Jüri Luik to sign them. The protocols are slated to be signed in NATO in the near future, after which they must be ratified by the parliaments of all 30 member countries of the alliance.
