Israel and Greece have signed their biggest ever defence procurement deal, which Israel said on Sunday would strengthen political and economic ties between the countries.
The agreement includes a $1.65 billion contract for the establishment and operation of a training centre for the Hellenic Air Force by Israeli defence contractor Elbit Systems over a 22-year period, Israel s defence ministry said.

India signed major trade and defence deals with Mauritius on Monday. During External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar’s visit to the island nation, the two sides signed a free trade agreement (FTA) or CECPA the first such pact with any African country.
During a joint press statement, S Jaishankar, said, India is privileged to have entered into a Comprehensive Economic Cooperation and Partnership Agreement (CECPA) with Mauritius. It will provide a timely boost for the revival of our post-Covid economies and also enable Indian investors to use Mauritius as a launch-pad for business expansion into continental Africa helping the prospect of Mauritius emerging as a ‘hub of Africa’.

Cabinet Committee on Security approved the procurement of 83 indigenously-developed light combat Tejas aircraft at a cost of Rs 48,000 crore, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said on Wednesday.
The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) meet was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
