The final two local precautionary boil orders have been lifted by the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH).
The ADH website indicates boil orders were lifted Monday for the East Newton County Water Association for customers south of Arkansas Highway 74 in the Piercetown area and the Deer Water Association in Newton County for customers along Arkansas Highway 327 from Alum Cove to the end of the system.
The remaining two orders lifted Monday were the last ones on a list of local water systems that had reached as high as eight earlier in the month.
