Final 2 local boil orders lifted

The final two local precautionary boil orders have been lifted by the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH). The ADH website indicates boil orders were lifted Monday for the East Newton County Water Association for customers south of Arkansas Highway 74 in the Piercetown area and the Deer Water Association in Newton County for customers along Arkansas Highway 327 from Alum Cove to the end of the system. New boil order issued Tuesday, 3 others still on ADH list

The Arkansas Department of Health (AHD) issued a precautionary boil water order Tuesday morning for the Deer Water Association in Newton County. The order is the result of a water line break due to construction. The impacted area is for those customers along Arkansas Highway 327 from Alum Cove to the end of the system.On Monday, the ADH lifted the precautionary boil order for the Fifty Six Waterworks system in Stone Count. Earlier Monday, the ADH website listed a new boil order for a portion of the Pyatt Waterworks system in Marion County. The impacted area is for customers along U.S. Highway 62 to east of L.J.’s Liquor.
