This afternoon metropolitan Police Responded to mount vernon and seventh street northwest for reports of an assault and when they got there, they found a man who had been stabbed. D. C. Fire and ems say he has severe life threatening injuries and so far police have blocked off two areas outside the Convention Center while they handle this investigation.
