Reporter its a big step but theres still work to be done. But there is a possibility that the bridge will open back up before the slated 4 a. M. Time on monday morning. Crews began installing barrier units in the earlymorning hours as people watched from the eastern side of the bridge. It will be 11,5500 feet. The bridge district says the barrier will still need to be adjusted and properly aleaned once all the units are down as well as striping that needs to be done at both ends of the bridge.
