Snow plows on the interstates and those primary roads like things are slow going this morning on interstate 81 in pulaski county. A tractor trailer accident near mile marker 92 has the northbound left and right live look at 81 in pulaski county. You can see snow covered roads. Traffic is backed up near mile 92 for about a mile. Traffic is being diverted off at exit 92 while crews work to clean up that accident. New this morning Virginia State police say they arent dealing with any major incidents this morning in our area. This is one of those weekends where its a good idea to limit how much time youll be spending outside. Layers will be the key this weekend, bill. A wind chill advisory will go into effect in about an hour for most of the viewing area including roanoke. Wind chill values have already dropped near zero in hot springs, and are forecast to reach that mark in the lower elevations later tonight.
