After watching asia and europe be ravaged by this disease, it is now the United States where it is spinning out of control. More than 312,000 americans have tested positive in the past month eclipsing anywhere else. Thats more than 34,000 new cases in one day. On saturday alone, more than 1,300 people died. It was the worst day yet. The u. S. President , donald trump, is now admitting what the experts have been warning about for months. This will be probably the toughest week between this week and next week. And there will be a lot of death, unfortunately. But a lot less death if this wasnt done. There will be death. Nowhere is the crisis more acute than new york city. It has more than a third of all cases in the

But, look, this whole discussion that senator mcconnell is raising, that some senators are raising, this is counterproductive, and it will lead to defeat for all of us. You need a bipartisan bill to pass. You go down this path of partisanship and politics, you will never pass a bill. If you never pass legislation, you will never get this economy back on its feet.
