donald trump will turn to ted cruz and attack him on something and then ted cruz will have no choice but to fire back. but i hesitate in predicting what donald trump is going to do in any given debate situation. for the last three debates, he hasn t been as loud as he was in the first debate. he hasn t been as front and center, even though he s front and center. he s sorted faded into the background. that s worked for him. he s come out of the debates not being the headline of the debate, but still leading in all of the polls. so whether or not donald trump will come out and be as strong as carson remains to be seen excuse me ted cruz. part of me says no, because if he s very strong against ted cruz, he risks alienating the supporters that may be a little bit more on the side of ted cruz, less on the side of his. he wants to go to his rallies where he knows he has a good base of support, where we can say negative things and get wild applause, because he knows that will play well on
used to only processed questions. look at this, i went a whole interview without asking them. you sure did. i got to talk about foreign policy. i will come on your show anytime. i will ask you one process question. why do you think a lot of presidential candidates have gotten a moment, or a couple moments? why do you think you haven t gotten your moment yet? i ve been over in the corner. this segregated debate situation, based on national polling has made it hard for me to break through. carly fiorina broke through. she did. i didn t do well in the first debate. i didn t know that would be my only chance. yes, she did break through. i think the day that my voice grows when i get on the main stage, i hope i will. but my moment comes in new hampshire, john mccain is going to help me. i go to weddings, funerals, divorces, i m working hard in new hampshire. this is where i ll break
equation as we finish up? despite marco rubio coming out and trying to be above the fray, if there is one catch phrase that has been repeated all over the media, it is is marco rubio the gop s obama? that was also leaked earlier this week by a the jeb bush campaign. everyone has access to is that. will that hurt marco rubio despite the widely believed claim that he handled the debate situation well. he did handle the debate situation well, but for the last two or three years as long as i can remember a lot of the gop claims about obama were first term senator, wasn t ready, only been a senator for wrote short time, didn t even complete the first term, all these arguments, young, new generation,
early state polling that benefits them. what a fascinating job you have to see how as we everything this campaign is not following the rules. new rules are being created by trump and the others and in this case private negotiations going public. thanks for being here this morning. you bet. let me bring in armstrong williams now. heist carson s business manager. thanks for being here. good morning. i want who hear how this debate situation went down. it seemed as if the rnc caved from the demands from outsider candidates to have a shorter debate. is that how you perceive what happened? life is about compromise. it s about taking everybody interests into consideration. if the network, the rnc and ultimately the candidates.
points. bernie sanders and joe biden continue to gain support. what does she have to do during that debate to regain the control when she first announced? not stumble. debates this is why you see her campaign pushing back on having too many of them. front-runners don t have a ton to gain from debate situation. it s the scrappy underdogs who will be coming at her on many issues where they feel she s not far enough to the left. the progressive base feels she s not far enough to the left. even on saturday night live, her kind of atoning for her past positions on gay marriage, her emphasizing her opposition to the keystone pipeline, and so i think you ll have to see her kind of explain that history a little more in the debates and also go maybe more on the offensive, where she can, on some issues. for example, on bernie sanders history on gun control or opposing gun control.
