Even during the last wave in the country, which lasted from February to September 2020, minority ethnic groups were found to be at a higher risk of getting infected by the virus, getting hospitalised, being under intensive care, and eventually dying when compared to the white community.Â

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Friday disbanded his âTeam 11â consisting of civil servants, who have been tackling the Covid-19 pandemic since the past one year.
The CM replaced the team with âTeam 9â at a meeting of senior officials and ministers.
The development comes in the wake of the âTeam 11â drawing severe flak for its inability to handle the Covid crisis in the state.
