Leon, this is the area on brookville road where it all took place. It happened back here in had this industry area. There are a number of businesses located back here. Used car lot. Several landscaping companies. This started to unfold around 8 00 this morning. Authorities say an employee of a Landscaping Company showed up for work and he was very agitated. Coworkers say he went to a car and grabbed a shotgun. He fired off one round into a mulch pile and then pointed the gun at a coworker. Police responded and shut down all roads surrounding the business which left many trying to figure out how to get to work. And other businesses on lockdown. Weve locked all the doors and obviously, nobody is coming in or out. Theres no immediate threat. Theyve got the swat teams in our parking lot so theyre certainly

Feels like 24. So were still in decent shape here, but look what happens during the afternoon. Start feeling like the 20s at 2 00. Not brutal. Look at this. By 8 00 tonight, it is feeling like Single Digits. The temperature is going to plunge and the wind is going to go up. Very often the wind goes down at night, not tonight. And by 11 00 tonight, it is feeling like below zero north and west and 4 degrees in philadelphia, 2 in trenton, and were near or below zero for the windchill saturday morning. Thats pretty brutal. Quite a change from what we are seeing even right now, but the temperature gradually going down as we go through the day. The wind gradually going up. The other issues are related to snow. Schwartz with an update on the freezing rain. Glenn. Its not something everybody is getting. Its not a solid area of rain. The places that do get it obviously that is a significant threat depending on the temperature, as youll see. We have a first alert today and tonight. Icy, untreated surfaces. If youve got salt on the surface, roads have been treated, they are just going to be wet. More freezing rain and sleet is in the forecast for this afternoon and into tonight and were going to have some icing issues tonight as well. This is not just a temporary thing. You can see the temperature is at or below freezing from the philadelphia area northward at 28 in trenton, one of the cold spots. Were barely above freezing to the south. So the threat of icing covered just about any part of the area. As you can see, its kind of patchy. Not everybody is getting it. There is more back to the west that is headed in our direction. The whole house was in flames. Montgomery county fire Officials Say the man who lives alone in the home heard the smoke alarm just before 1 30. Officials say he saw the fire grabbed the fire extinguisher and tried to put out the flames but couldnt. He ran to a neighbors home suffering from second and third degree burns. Transported to Washington Hospital center as a burn unit priority one burn patient, second and third degree burns. Pretty serious. Critical condition. Fire investigators believe the fire started here in this front room in an electrical outlet and if you take a look here inside you can see the fire spread not only here to the first floor but to the second floor as well. Im just puzzled by it. Neighbors say the man is a long time resident of the townhouse community. Neighbors describe him as a father, a man who is quiet but friendly. People would know him wave at him. Fire officials havent been able to find two cats in the house at the time of the fire. Firefighters plan
