with more evacuation orders being lifted, more people are back home safe tonight. nbc bay area s sergio quintana begins our coverage in pescadero with some very relieved homeowners. sergio. reporter: yeah. well, this town largely emptied out on thursday under those mandatory evacuation orders, but today as people were returning back home, the population actually grew by one. the newest resident is a newborn boy. this is the first walk for lauren tip ets since returning home. her oldest son, jack, is riding in the wagon and strapped to her chest is jonathan. he was born the day after they evacuated. thursday night when we got our evacuation, i went into labor, and i had him. reporter: she shared this photo. she and her husband spent the days before their evacuation spraying down their property with fire hoses. it survived unscathed. we were at the hospital for a few nights and then stayed with my in-laws over the hill. reporter: there are homes that did not survive t
