we investigated a potential threat yesterday, tracked it down and arrested another 15-year-old, and followed on with a search of the house. so we would have done the same thing if we believed that there was a safety issue. we would have, a, tried to have the student removed from the school until it was fully and completed investigated and b begun on with secondary investigation including is there access and available to weapons and potentially to take those weapons and place them in a safe environment until there is an determination of how that child is going to move forward to a better place. i only have ten seconds left but i have to ask, do you believe the school is culpable here? i believe mistakes were made at a number of levels. we are doing our best to, you know, make sure that folks that were murdered on this tragic day get justice. sheriff michael bouchard
