The SEIU and union workers said they’ve been in contract talks with their parent company Trinity Health Senior Communities since December. However, since then the company has ended the talks.
Trinity Health, which operates the facility, says it's made a "generous" offer to increase wages. Members of the union say it's not enough to attract and keep staff.
