Updated: 12:29 PM EST Feb 11, 2021 A 36-year-old woman died in what deputies are calling a violent collision with another vehicle that authorities had tried to stop prior to the crash, according to Lt. Kevin Bobo, with the Spartanburg County Sheriff s Office.The coroner said Jessica Ruth Munyon, 36, of Moore, South Carolina died Wednesday at the scene of the crash. (Video above: Sky 4 flew over crash scene Wednesday night) The collision happened just after 4 p.m. on Blackstock Road near Bradford Road in the Roebuck community, the coroner said. Before the accident, a deputy and a trooper with the South Carolina Highway had tried to stop a driver who had turned right from Reidville Rd. onto E. Blackstock Rd. with a loud exhaust and squealing tires, Bobo said. The deputy activated his blue lights and siren to get around the cars in front of him in the turn lane in an attempt to stop the black Cadillac, but the Cadillac accelerated, started weaving in and out of both lanes
