“I know one thing we strived to do was to treat everyone as family, and I think we did,” an emotional Radel said in front of fellow officers, longtime collleagues and family.

The Davison County Sheriff s Office says no one has been arrested following a bomb threat Tuesday at the Davison County Public Safety Center that forced evacuation of the building.
Authorities at the jail received a call at 8:49 a.m. in which a caller said there was a bomb placed in the courtroom. Law enforcement officers blocked the building Tuesday morning. A Mitchell Republic reporter attempted to enter the building to cover felony court proceedings but was denied access to the facility by officers. The building is located at 1015 S. Miller Ave.
