An infantryman who has served two tours in Iraq and four in Afghanistan received a new challenge Friday afternoon.
Command Sgt. Maj. James Brasher became the command sergeant major for the Installation Management Command Directorate-Sustainment. He succeeded Command Sgt. Maj. Jeffrey Adams in a change of responsibility ceremony in Bob Jones Auditorium.
âItâs always humbling to take on new responsibilities,â Brasher said. âAnd I appreciate the opportunity to continue to serve Soldiers, families and civilians that call our installations home.â
Davis Tindoll, director of IMCOM Sustainment, conducted the ceremony, which marked a milestone for the two senior enlisted Soldiers and their families. âCommand Sgt. Maj. Brasher, you will be challenged. I promise you that,â Tindoll said.
