The rising rate of infections and hospitalizations is prompting some counties to pump the brakes on efforts to reopen more businesses. But there is one county that still plans to move forward. Nbc bay areas Sergio Quintana is in san jose with the story. Reporter Santa Clara County Public Health officials have been among the most cautious in the bay area. Next week theyre planning on releasing a list of businesses that will be allowed to reopen just as other counties are pulling back on the reins. Santa clara county is the last in the bay area to allow hair salons and similar businesses to reopen under strict rules. That may soon be clhanging.
