It’s going to be a rough one for the Marlins as two of their best players undergo MRIs. Jazz Chisholm Jr. and Garrett Cooper will both be getting checked out, reports David Wilson of the Miami Herald.

Chisholm suffered a left shoulder contusion after landing on it in the first inning of yesterday’s game against the Phillies; he exited the game immediately after. With a second stroke of bad luck, Cooper sustained an elbow injury in the eighth inning after Travis Jankowski ran into him at first base. You guessed it, he left the game too. Now both starters are receiving further testing to determine what their timelines are.
