Love them or loathe them, social media memes offer an accurate reflection of where people’s feelings are at about any given topic of the time. And this certainly proved true in the case of working from home, or WFH as it’s become colloquially known in a pandemic life.
By now, surely everyone’s seen the one that says 2020 wasn’t the year of working from home, but rather living at work. This and similar memes suggest that WFH – the concept that mere months ago was nothing more than a fantasy for thousands of employees – is not the panacea we once imagined.

Interaction with other people turns out to be what those currently working from home miss the most about being at the office, according to a Back to Work survey conducted by The Business Exchange.
More than 25% of respondents indicated they will be happy to return to the office.
