Apr 4, 2021 Two new awards have been introduced this year, the HKU Innovator Award and the HKU Young Innovator Award. Professor Tang Chuyang from the Department of Civil Engineering was winner of the inaugural Innovator Award. Dr Kwok Ka Wai from the Department of Mechanical Engineering was winner of the inaugural Young Innovator Award. Eight other categories of awards were presented at the ceremony, including the University Distinguished Teaching Award, Outstanding Teaching Award, Early Career Teaching Award, Teaching Innovation Award, Outstanding Researcher Award, Outstanding Young Researcher Award, Outstanding Research Student Supervisor Award and Knowledge Exchange Excellence Award.
