The city removed a homeless encampment at a PATCO station in Center City.
PHILADELPHIA - The city removed a homeless encampment at a Center City PATCO station Wednesday. They say they were offering them better options for housing and treatment.
However, the homeless called it an eviction while the city called it an encampment resolution. No matter what you called it, the underground homeless encampment at the Locust Street PATCO station looks different. The goal of today s operation is to have a collective effort with providers and to make sure we re giving housing and treatment services to our individuals, homeless advocate David Holloman
Scott to enter NFL Draft

Indiana running back Stevie Scott III will forego his final two seasons of eligibility and declare for the NFL Draft, he announced Saturday.
“What a ride it has been, coming to IU . has been a life-changing experience for me,” Scott wrote on social media. “I’ve made so many memories and built many relationships on and off the field that I will cherish for a lifetime. Changing the culture of Indiana football was a big goal of min(e) and we did that! I want to thank Coach (Tom) Allen and (running backs) Coach (Mike) Hart for both believing in me and my potential and helping me prepare for the next chapter. I would like to thank my parents for their sacrifices in order for me to be where I am today.

Michigan’s football program had an eventful national signing day.
It added its top remaining 2021 target in West Bloomfield four-star running back Donovan Edwards and also held on to two prospects who were strongly considering other schools: four-star receiver Xavier Worthy and three-star cornerback Ja’Den McBurrows.
But the Wolverines also lost two of their top defensive prospects as four-star linebacker Branden Jennings flipped to Maryland and four-star defensive end Quintin Somerville flipped to UCLA.

He s sitting in an office at Oakleaf High School a bit southwest of Jacksonville, and the 5-foot-10, 175-pound defensive back is a bundle of energy. Dressed in red Indiana shorts and t-shirt, the enthusiasm for his new college program knows no bounds.
