update on your forecast with tracy. hey, thanks, elizabeth. after sunday s soaker, what s in store for today? cold front moving out of the bay area, back behind it some sunshine is building in for today but temperatures, whoo, they are cool. we ll look at today s cool highs in just a few moments. six shootings in three days in oakland. the latest prompted a bizarre string of events. this morning, at 1:40 a man was shot in the head on high street at mcarthur boulevard. the car he was driving rolled on a lawn in front a house. the car hit a gas meter and triggered a leak. at least 10 people were evacuated and we are told they are still sheltered in a heated a.c. transit bus now. the fire department has capped the leak. the shooting victim is in critical condition. this was the sixth shooting in oakland in the past three days. on saturday, a teenaged boy and young man were shot to death as they sat in a car on 8th street. some clean-up to do at an east bay school today aft
should be a pretty good soaker especially as we get into the early morning. showers creeping closer outside. high-def doppler showing mostly dry skies so far across the bay area but look to the north and it is already changing quite a bit as we are starting to pick up moisture from the cold front sliding through. it will get going pretty good into the early morning hours. let s see if we can time this out for you a bit. as we head through the night tonight, roll the clock forward towards midnight some of the showers are already beginning in parts of the north bay then comes down pretty rapidly as we head into that. passing south of the golden gate bridge. then i think like about 7:00 a.m. tomorrow morning the main cold front will be stretched across the bay area. that will bring with it the heaviest amounts of rain, strong gusty winds. some of the heavier amounts of rainfall. maybe about an inch, inch and three quarters in parts of the north bay. and over the santa cruz mou
